Let's share the happy news to encourage each other as "Polyplastics-Family"!

What were you like when you were in your childhood? Please show us your lovely photo!

The moment of sisterhood

When I was a little kid, my favorite moment was being together with my older sister. We were clinging all day and night in the house as she had to take care a little baby. Time flies so fast, now we are separated by the duty and responsibility. But the moment of sisterhood still lives with us forever.

Back to childhood

Time has already gone like an arrow for ten thousand days and nights in my life as the blink, galloping, as sun and moon shuttle. With my laughter, sadness, time quietly drifting from my eyes.
When I realized I wanted to reach for it, I was helpless to become a teenager.
In my hazy memory, I would crouch beside my parents and watch the world on the ground, that was one of the greatest joys of my childhood.

Younger me was…

Last February I met an uncle who used to take care of me on most of his youth. During our talk he often say that he never found me “grow up” because when he took care of me as little girl, he found me as a child who cannot stay still and curious about a lot of things. I think “that spirit” still there because I love to find new things to explore or go to new places.

My childhood photo

Here’s a photo taken at my primary school can you recognize me. Every time when I take out this photo, there is a familiar scene emerges in my mind immediately, my playmates, the path we went to school together, the small pond in which we caught fish and the classroom we used to have class together.
In my memory, an iron ring or an iron stick could give me such a lot happiness. A bamboo basket or a long rope could make me full of expectation. At that time, we didn’t have mobile phones or computers, only simple toys, but we were still so happy. Now we have changed from child to parents, my childhood can only stay in my good memory.

My childhood

When I was a little girl, I loved to go on outings. There are many pictures of me near the forest and parks. I loved to do explore my town and wanted to know every inch of it. Now, I still love to go on outings with very beautiful scenery, so that I can take more photos of my time spent there.

Father’s encouragement made me brave

When I was in kindergarten, I was timid and afraid of heights. Dare not stand on a chair or a slightly higher position. In order to train my courage, my father often took me to climb hills and deliberately put me on the handrail. Then, he would give me a thumbs-up and applaud.
Through training, I became courageous gradually, no longer afraid of heights. The trees behind my house became my playmate. I often climbed up the tree and sat on the branch listening to the birds. I also often went to climb the hill in my hometown, I liked to stand on the top of the hill to enjoy the beautiful scenery below.

My favorite flowers

When I was a child, I loved flowers very much, I always searched for different flowers from the
gardens and fields, and kept different colors of flowers in vases in my room, then I could smell fresh
flowers every day when I slept. After the flowers dried, I kept it on my photo wall.
I grew up with so many flowers. It brought me many happy.

Smiling Girl

I had a very beautiful childhood; I was a very active and playful girl. My mother says I was always laughing with my best friend cousin and that I was very sociable. In most of my childhood pictures I am either smiling or laughing. Mom also says I was creative and that I did many innocent monkeyshines.

Seems that Water is my Element

Since I can remember I love to play in water. As a child I could not resist to jump in every puddle, stream or lake. I drove my parents crazy since I wanted to go outside when it was raining so I could dance in the rain. Fun facts: I do not like to drink plain water and I learned how to swim when I was 42.

Precious memories

Traceless time flies, only the image is clear and touchable, reaching the deepest part of one’s mind. This photo is a treasure that my cousin who is thousands of miles away from us took with her when she left our hometown. It didn’t come back to me until decades later. Taking pictures was a rare and ceremonious thing at that time. That afternoon, my mother took my cousin and me to see my grandmother. On the way, we come across the cameraman. He praised me how lovely and pretty I was. My eyes were big, my forehead was high, and my black hair made my skin even fair. My mother was very happy and agreed to take pictures for me. I’m sitting on the bike with a tomato in my hand. I’m very happy. This was the first picture taken in my life.
