I started the New Year with a lot of new friends this time organizing a youth camp for an international association called Children’s International Summer Villages (CISV). After Christmas, young people from Brazil, Germany, France, Sweden and Norway met in the surroundings of Frankfurt to spend a week together and get to know each other. On the photo you can see us dancing a new Brazilian dance that we’ve learned from our new friends.

Hello, my name is Manuela Gaden. Working as Administrative Assistant at Topas.
We have on 01.01. celebrated NEW Year and set ourselves good resolutions, such as more exercise or a diet. But in January it’s winter and this cold and dark season doesn’t make it easy for us to implement these resolutions.
I think in spring when nature blooms, the animals wake up from their hibernation, our own energy also gets going and projects are much easier to keep. That’s why I love this NEW season that starts.
Through the roundabout in the picture I drive home every evening from work. And the words on the wall say: And if you have decided, then act…

We would like to introduce LCPG’s collegue from our laboratory.
Her name is Luzie Stöckl and she is working in our laboratory as a laboratory operator.
I write the report about her.

Luzie is now 22 years old and since e few weeks she has a new „family member“ dog – his name is Hugo.
It is a French bulldogge with the age of 2 years. He is quite cute and likest o play a lot of games with Luzi and is interested to learn a lot.
Luzie likes with him to walk around and play games ( like getting the stick).

My new hobby is to enjoy cooking and baking every weekend.
I learn it from YouTube, recipe from internet and friends. I will try to explore cooking Japanese food. First dish will be tempura udon (thanks to my friend, Maki for the guidance).

Besides golf and yoga, recently I like hiking very much. It becomes a “must activity” on Sat and Sun early morning. Hiking is one of those things that you can only do when you have the determination in you.
