Chinaplas is the Asia No. 1 & world’s No. 2 Plastics & Rubber Trade Fair. It started almost 30 years ago, rotating in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou in turns. However, due to the drop of demand in Beijing, Beijing was taken off from the list some years ago, and focusing on the other 2 big cities of China now.
This year Chinaplas has surpassed the previous Shanghai Chinaplas in 2012. All 17 exhibition halls were fully utilized, 13 temporary tents (only 8 in 2012), and 5 additional outdoor individual exhibition suites were added to cater for the high demand of exhibition space.
Despite of the unsteady weather, Chinaplas has attracted a total no. of 130,370 visitors, with 36,841 from overseas (28.26%). Polyplastics booth was always packed with old and new customers from all over the world. We have international staff flew in from Germany, Mexico, Thailand, Singapore and Japan to support this extravagance.
Polyplastics has been actively participating in Chinaplas almost every year. Over the years, Chinaplas has grown from being a China show to an extravagance of the plastics & rubber industries internationally. Just like us, Polyplastics, has grown from a Japanese company into a global company with momentum.
As the pioneer and top player in the field, Polyplastics has been exhibiting with strong & ourstanding theme each year. This year our focus is on promoting our corporate philosophy and the global vision. Material-wise, TOPAS® film application got the most spot light at the venue.
Polyplastics was selected as one of the big players and was invited for a video interview at the booth by the organizer. During the interview, Nakamura-san has explained to the interviewer about Polyplastics’ materials high lights as well as our plant expansion projects.
The next Chinaplas is scheduled from 20-23rd May in Guangzhou 2015.
