Welcome and Farewell dinner /

On 10 April 2014, we had arranged a welcome & farewell dinner for Mr. Tomoaki Tanaka and Mr. Minoru Hirose with all staffs at Spring Court Restaurant. Emcee of the day was Mr. Daisuke Usui, upon Mr. Jun Uchida requested, he had arranged few of the staffs whom had worked with Mr. Minoru Hirose to give a speech of their impression and working experience with Hirose san.

Before the speech, Mr. Tomoaki Tanaka was requested to self-introduction himself as he will be the successor of Mr. Minoru Hirose of General Manager of ASEAN Sales Headquarters.

Mr. Tomoaki Tanaka is currently based in Shanghai (China), he can speak little mandarin and he is the General Manager of Great China Sales Headquarters and Chairman of Polyplastics Shanghai.

After some dishes had been served, the emcee invited Mrs. Katherine Ho to be the first speaker to describe the impression of Mr Hirose. She described Mr Hirose was a charming looking and gentleman, a boss which always willing to listen to the staff suggestion.

The 2nd person whom gave the speech was Mrs. Pauline Khoo, she recalled and said she was surprised and touched by Mr Hirose action ‘ He expressed employer’s duty of care to her’, as Mr Hirose briefed her the system in Japan such as on how to take limousine bus, train from airport to hotel,etc before her business trip to Japan to attend 1st Accounting Meeting. She described Mr. Hirose was a strict boss but as what Mrs. Katherine Ho mentioned he willing to listen to his staff opinion.

Mrs. Karine Teo highlighted that she didn’t had chance to communicate with Mr. Hirose but she can vividly recalled that Mr. Hirose was a wise boss.

Lastly in the eyes of Mr Toh, Mr. Hirose was a person who delicate to his work and a supportive boss. He still remembers Mr. Hirose humble way to break the ice with his customer while travelled to Australia for business meeting. Mr. Hirose mentioned ‘his boss only taught him how to sell Duracon, never taught him how to speak English.’

Before the dinner ended, Mrs. Pauline Khoo represent on behalf of Polyplastics Singapore staffs to hand a card with full of warmest written greeting and signatures to Mr. Hirose.

After the hearty evening, it was time to have our group photo with Polyplastics Singapore staffs, Mr. Yoshitake Kawazu (PMI), Mr. Minoru Hirose (PMT) and Mr. Tomoaki Tanaka (PSL).
