RMB is defined as the legal tender in China, PBOC(People’s Bank of China) is competent authority of the RMB Management and in charge of Design, printing and distribution .“Yuan” and “jiao” be used in the unit of RMB.Now the minimum coin issued is “1jiao”, the largest paper money is “100 yuan”; “10 jiao” is equal to “1 yuan”.
1 jiao coin is made by stainless steel as material in order to be erosion-proof, abrasion-proof and long-lived. Chinese ancients designated the plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum as "four gentlemen", also on the back of the “1 jiao”coin was printed orchids.
On the paper money of 100 yuan, The MAO Zedong (the first president founded of new China) and the Great Hall of the People (All policy be decide by vote) was printed as the background. It means china is a country which pursues equality and free.
