Editor’s Note for Polyplastics’ 50th Anniversary

In this edition of P-Mates, we celebrate Polyplastics’ 50th anniversary with special features that introduction of the 50th Anniversary Project and column “Something related to the number 50”. Let me take this opportunity to thank all of the many people in the Polyplastics Group who wrote articles for the column.

Several years ago, my father marked 50 years of continuous working. My father is a blacksmith. I remember the comment he made, reflecting on 50 years of working as a craftsman: “The only things you can take with you to the grave are the things you eat, see, and hear. Start by taking in everything; only what remains inside makes you decide what you should do next. I just kept doing that. There’s no telling how talent and life will turn out until you get to be my age.”
I interpret the words of Confucius, “At 50 I knew the will of Heaven,” to mean that one’s “self” can be truly felt only by those who have at least 50 years of experience.

People live at longest about 100 years, but companies are handed down through generations and can live many years longer than 100 years, as great trees do. The lives of its employees will overlap with Polyplastics’ next 50 years, and I’m sure the company will continue in business.
Due to the cooperation of the reporters in our group companies, every P-mates can include the information of each group company in the voice of the people working there. I would like to thank all of the reporters for their hard work. The P-Mates editorial staff is always grateful to you.
We are looking forward to learning about the cultures and customs of each country, which you share with everyone in the voice of the people on site through P-Mates. Each of you will create your “Polyplastics life” in your own unique way; it is my heartfelt wish that P-Mates will serve in some small way to help enrich that life.

Heartfelt congratulations to Polyplastics on its 50th anniversary.
