[ 50th Anniversary Project ] Plans to Enable All Group Employees to Celebrate and Enjoy Our Anniversary Together

On June 26, 2012, Polyplastics will mark its 50th year in business.

PPC’s 50th Anniversary Project Planning Committee has until now been discussing a variety of plans for ways to celebrate the company anniversary. The committee decided on the two plans described below, which can be enjoyed by all Polyplastics Group employees together.

• Launch of Website “A History of 50 Years in Business” (Beginning in April)
• Company Party (June 30)

Here we give a short description of each plan.

Launch of Website
“A History of 50 Years in Business”

In April a new website will be launched that will take a look back each month at a part of the company’s history.
The site will not only look back on the company’s history but also epoch-making developments described by the persons who played a key role in those developments. Plans for site content include videos showing the workplaces of our group companies and things they’re proud of!
Filming is underway now at each company.

Although the Website isn’t set up yet, let’s take an advance peek at the video filming that has been done so far.

The project committee asked each group company to designate someone in each of their company workplaces to act as a company reporter, and the reporters introduce their workplaces.
In each filming location, the meaning of the “Polyplastics-Family” as defined in the Corporate Philosophy is directly felt through many heart-warming episodes. Everyone is making every effort possible to convey the wonderful atmosphere during filming.
The filming crews are looking forward to the active participation of all of the employees in each workplace they come to film.

Company Party

On June 30, a company party will be held at Fujisanmesse, an exhibition hall near the Fuji Plant.
On the day of the party, employees selected from each group company in the Lucky Draw, PPC employees and retired employees will get together to celebrate the company anniversary and look back on the path the company has traveled in the past 50 years. It is hoped that the party will inspire everyone with the desire to make even greater new history in the days and years ahead.
A tour of the Fuji Plant and the TSC is planned for participants from group companies and persons from PPC who wish to join the tour.

Detailed information will be posted on Gr. Bulletin Board whenever it becomes available.
Let’s all join together in making the most of this special time!
