Plastindia 2012 & 50th anniversary party in India

On February 1-6, 2012, Plastindia 2012, India’s largest international plastics exhibition and conference, was held in New Delhi, India. Polyplastics Marketing (India) operated a booth at the exhibition.

Until now, PMI has operated a booth together with Padmini Petroplast, a plastics distributor in India. But this year for the first time, we decided to operate our own booth as a more intensified PR effort in response to the plastics market in India, which is growing on a daily basis.

Persons from the group companies in Japan, Greater China, Singapore, and India pooled their talents, skills, and knowledge in working together on booth design, preparation of posters and other printed materials, and gathering examples of plastics applications, etc. in order to create a booth that was even better than our past booths.

A large number of customers come to New Delhi while this event is in progress, so it was good timing that we took advantage of by holding a party to commemorate Polyplastics’ 50th anniversary.

We asked Mr. Harshad Karmarkar and Ms. Smita Mogue from Polyplastics Marketing (India) Pvt. Ltd., who were in charge of preparations, to report on the exhibit booth and the anniversary party.
