Let's share the happy news to encourage each other as "Polyplastics-Family"!

“Photo at Festival” Contest!

The theme of contest is "Photo at Festival"!

1st Prize!

When people dressed in black in Leipzig’s streets, a black tram line starts to operate, the shops in the city centre of Leipzig decorate their shop windows in black and the press is titled “Leipzig sees black”, then it is that time again : The Wave-Gothic-Meeting is in the city!
The “WGT” is the largest gothic festival in the world and takes place every year over Pentecost in Leipzig. Leipzig is about 40 km away from Leuna.
More than 20,000 fans of gothics, cybergoths, steampunks, electro and medieval etc. travel to Leipzig from all over the world. That sounds very crazy!
I visited the Wave-Gothic-Meeting at the first time in June 2014. It was very impressive for me, because I saw so many different characters and they all were very relaxed, happy and peaceful. Everyone is very respectful to each other. It is also very amazing that the most worn costumes are handmade and of course the people are presenting them with great pride and are happy if someone wants to take photos with them. It is a very special atmosphere and definitely worth a visit!

The photo was taken at my apartment lobby area during Chinese New Year of this year.
It is the Chinese tradition to have lion dance performance during CNY as we believe that it will bring good luck and fortune.
Kids were having fun interacting with the lion dancers and all resident was enjoying the lion dance show very much.

Sharing is Loving!
This picture showing a group of man cut the fresh meat into pieces for distribution to neighbourhood and poor families.
This event has been taken place at a mosque, near to my house during ‘Qurban’ on the day of Eid ul Adha. (known as Hari Raya Haji in Malay)’Qurban’ teaching us to sacrifice, to spend our earnings for others, remind our duty of serving mankind with time, effort and wealth.
There are strict conditions to perform Qurban. The sacrificial animals must be healthy, the knife must be sharp and the slaughter method should have been told in advance, so that it will not torture the animal.
The meat will be given away in charity for the poor and community. For certain places and in a poor country, this is a blissful moment as they could enjoy fresh meat! What a reconnecting celebration right?

At the Fuji Summer Festival on 20 Jul 2019, I sold the Frankfurt sausage and Rakugaki-Senbei (the rice crackers on which the customers can draw the doodles as they like) as a member of Fuji HR team. This is a one scene of that day.
The children who had drawn the pictures were looking anxiously at whether we could put the final touches on their rice crackers nicely. They were very cute.
