Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

The other day, I went with my family to the "Hilton Tokyo Dessert Buffet."
This dessert buffet is rather well-known by the general public and the theme this time was "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."

The motif for the dessert buffet was the world of Alice. First we ducked under the gate to Wonderland, where we were greeted by a great quantity of beverages labeled "DRINK ME." Passing by the beverages, next there was a chocolate fondue tower and all sorts of desserts in bright, showy colors spread out.

We mixed in with lots of people dressed up as Alice and ate desserts to our heart's content. It was a day for becoming aware again of the popularity of the dessert buffet.

I'll end by mentioning that I had my daughter who is in the second grade draw a likeness of Mr. Shiwaku.
I wanted her to enter it, but buckled under the pressure of her strong determination when she adamantly declared, "I am not going to enter it!" So at least I'll introduce it in the Editor's Postscript.

Don't you think it looks a little bit like him?
