The summer night festival, one of Polyplastics’ annual events, was held on July 26. The festival is held every year to provide a venue for communication between employees and also an opportunity to interact with local residents, whose understanding and cooperation in regard to our plant operations is deeply appreciated.
We had great weather that day—perfect for a festival! The evening got underway with a Japanese taiko drum performance given by some of the local people and a dance by a group of cheerleaders put everyone in a festive mood.
There were lots of booths selling all sorts of things—food, plants, toys. The evening was brought to an end with the usual games and lottery that are a standard feature of each year’s festival.
Again this year, a large number of people from small children to elderly folks had a great time at our summer night festival, which has become an annual event. Let’s make this event a summer tradition of Polyplastics in the Fuji area that everyone looks forward to!
