A picture of me at Ichiran, a ramen shop that specializes in tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. It’s located in Tenjin Nishidori in Hakata.
This shop is one of the few Ichiran restaurants that serves ramen in an oblong black box that resembles a Japanese jubako (tiered lacquered boxes). As the photo shows, when you finish the ramen you can see a phrase written on the bottom of the box that brings a smile to your face.
When I eat ramen I usually don’t drink all the ramen broth, but this was so good that I drank it up.
The phrase at the bottom of the box says “The last drop gives you the greatest pleasure.”

I am at the first Trick Art Museum i-City Shah Alam, Malaysia. The optical illusions are created by the clever painting of shadows and action outside the perimeter of the picture flames. It is a great place to bring the children to spark their creativity and imagination and perhaps trigger an appreciation of art.

Ms.Yukiko Murayama (PPC)

Uluru (Ayers Rock) by the light of the new moon and the Milky Way. (I was even lucky enough to get a shooting star in the picture.) Uluru is a national park, so there are fixed opening and closing times. I heard that if you stay in the park after closing time you can be fined about 550,000 yen. I chose a day to visit the park when the moon was new because that’s the view I wanted to see. I kept checking my watch and stayed right up to closing time so that I could take this picture when the sky was as dark as possible.

Mr.Hirozumi Shimomura (PPC)

Here’s a rainbow that appeared on the surface of Lake Towada.

Ms.Chia Shuh Yi (PAP)

Powdery sand, crystal clear turquoise water, enchanting reefs and magical undersea paradise. (Mataking Island, Sabah, Malaysia.)

Ms.Nancy Li (PTM)

Fantastic Beauty of Jiuzhai Valley Every year my family and I will take a trip to some places of interest. This year we went to Jiuzhai Valley, which is called Heaven on earth.

Ms.Lee Sok Fun (PAP)

I went to hike Mount Fuji on Aug 12, 2014 with my friends. We experienced bad weather during the climb up. It was raining all the way, from fifth station that we started off up to the mountain hut we stayed at 8.5th station. We took a rest at the mountain hut for a night to restore our energy and continue hiking at 3 o'clock in the morning to catch the sunrise at the peak. The sunrise view was stunning and awesome! At the same time, it was very cold with very strong wind at the peak.
