A booklet in Japanese and English describing the environmental and CSR activities undertaken by the Polyplastics Group in 2013 was issued in June and distributed to all group employees.
The content is also reflected on the CSR page of the group Web site in July.

Formerly the booklet was available only in Japanese. However, because the booklet is read by people worldwide, last year we added English text for the first time.
This year the booklet was prepared in separate Japanese and English versions to further enhance readability.

A message to everyone from President Goto on the occasion of issuance of the report.
The results of the mid-term plan, which ended in 2013, are summarized in the following three points.
- Serving our global customers as a global company
- Advancing technological innovations in the environment and energy fields
- Developing human resources to develop competence in global business
In order to further enhance the Polyplastics-Way development, sales and marketing activities, President Goto stresses the importance of the group TSCs acting in collaboration. He also states his expectation that the Fuji Plant, including the TSC in Japan, will act as the mother plant in passing on technologies and producing innovations.
Highlight of 2013
Highlights of 2013 introduces two examples of technical support provided directly on-site for customers’ product development efforts on the common theme “Polyplastics‚ supporting on-site development type manufacturing.”
*Activities of the overseas TSCs of Polyplastics Group
- The ASEAN TSC, which has advanced the construction of intellectual infrastructure in Thailand
*Collaboration with Hi-Lex Corporation
- Trilateral cooperation between Japan, China and India for design development
Social Contribution Activities
Social contribution activities undertaken by group companies are introduced by category.
The group companies report on local community projects and environmental protection activities they undertook and participated in during 2013.
There is also a special column that describes in detail activities undertaken at PTM and PAP.
