Mr. Ohhaba becomes PCL member

Mr Ohhaba is transferred to PCL for 3 months. Now, I am going to have a short interview with him.

Frankie :
Tell us about your career history in Polyplastics?

Mr Ohhaba:
I have worked in Polyplastics since 2008 and belonged to Logistics Department. I am transferred to PCL in May 2013.

Frankie :
What kind of work are you doing now?

Mr Ohhaba:
In PCL, I belong to Logistics and Customer Service Department. I need to prepare sales figure, analyze the forecast and support salesmen. In order to provide good quality of customer services, I communicate with customers regularly to meet up their delivery request. In case of any urgent shipment, I need to communicate with other sales offices to adjust the shipping schedule.

Frankie :
What is the difference between working in Japan and Hong Kong? Any difficulties?

Mr Ohhaba:
In Japan, I just focused on internal communication because I spent a lot of time to work with colleagues.
In Hong Kong, the most difficult thing is language. I need to communicate with colleagues in English. It is a good chance to practice and improve my English to reach a smooth cooperation with them. Besides the language problem, external communication is very fresh for me. I have to meet customers regularly to get the updated information. It trains me up as a dynamic person. Although it is not an easy task, I will try my best to overcome all the difficulty and study as much as I can.

Frankie :
How do you feel about living in Hong Kong? (Food/Leisure/Weather, etc.)

Mr Ohhaba:
In Hong Kong, there are variety of cuisines such as Thai style, Chinese style, Western style and Japanese style. Among all the cuisines, I like Dim Sum very much.
For leisure, Hong Kong has a beautiful night scene at Victoria Habour. There is a lot of shopping areas in Tsim Sha Tsui and local market in Temple Street. Stanley is a relax area which full of bars, pubs, Western restaurants and foreigners.
Weather is also good. Hong Kong has many rainy days but not so hot. It is cooler than Japanese summer.
I do enjoy the life in Hong Kong because people are kind and nice. Babies and children are very cute. Everyone is energetic.
