Transparent Person

I went to Chinatown in Yokohama during Golden Week. I had been saying all the time "I want to eat some Chinese food" and this was how I got my wish. The day I went, Chinatown was jammed with people. I ate to my heart's content--a steamed bun with meat filling, Xiaolongbao dumplings, Taiwan-style shaved ice with mango--and then stopped by the trick art museum in Yokohama Daisekai*.

I wonder how many “Likes” you would give me for this post.

* Yokohama Daisekai: The complex that has souvenir shops, museums from the first to eighth floors, and restaurants.

Basically, the museum displays a lot of arts that employ optical illusion--pictures that change expression when you stare at them long enough, a tunnel you can't walk straight in. There was one artwork, a bronze statue that really caught my attention. It was titled "Transparent Person." I think many of you may have seen it. I posted a photo of it right away on Instagram but surprisingly, only got 4 "Likes."
