2018 Kaizen Convention /

Topics PTW Vol.81

PPC Group Kaizen Convention is an annual big event for all Polyplastics Family members. All participants were putting forth their best efforts to prove themselves.

By joining this competition, PTW could re-realize and learn the power of “Kaizen” both from PPC other competitors.
This event was divided into 3 parts: Kaizen Convention on the first day, Fuji Plant tour on the second day, and the excursion on the last day.
During the first day, followed by countless discussions and PPT (Documents) editing, we hope our efforts could help PTW to represent our “Kaizen spirit” perfectly. It was a pleasant moment during my presentation. I was able to manage my pace and tone during my presentation based on audiences’ reactions. I listened to audience’s questions carefully and answered to their questions with my best efforts. After the presentation, it was a valuable moment to exchange ideas with many managers during a dinner party.

On the second day, there was a Fuji Plant tour for all participants. PPC arranged many lectures on Kaizen for each manufacturing process. The second day enabled all participants to understand the idea of Kaizen better. The most impressive session for me was at Technical Solution Center Department, where the application of Polyplastics’ resin in our daily lives was introduced. We also managed to see the final products made from the resin, which inspired me a lot.

On the third day, there was an excursion. Our PPC members showed us around in Tokyo friendly. There was one more thing worth mentioning. It was snowing when we were on the way to Tokyo. Since some of us saw snow in our whole lives, we had an unforgettable and wonderful excursion.

On the last day in Japan, No participants from PTW wanted to leave. We were honored to join the Kaizen Convention. We gained many experiences and learned a lot from PPC. This is the most valuable aspect of this event for me. We will leverage this valuable experience to help PTW enhance “Kaizen spirit” more.
