LCPG gets involved, supports and donates for social projects in our region. We think it is important to support especially kids to prepare them for their future challenges such as environmental protection and exposure to nature and resources. The elementary school “Thomas Müntzer” in Eisleben asked us for our support in obtaining an empty container where they can store garden tools like rakes and watering cans. They are important tools when the school teaches the students how to plant flowers, grow them and crop their fruits.
Our employee Thomas Postler is a member of the development association of “Grundschule Thomas Müntzer” and encouraged this initiative.
The teachers of the school wanted to shape the education more attractive for their students, that is why the school cultivated an unused area. They have to buckle beds and plant culinary herbs, flowers and vegetables. After the plants are grown, the children crop them and use them in the school kitchen.
