TAP (TOPAS Advanced Polymers GmbH) celebrated the 10th anniversary of its establishment by holding a commemorative ceremony on January 19 in the city of Oberhausen, Germany where its plant is located. More than 70 people attended the ceremony including President Fudaba (DAICEL) and President Goto (Polyplastics) from Japan, employees, retirees and other persons concerned from Germany and other countries.
A tour of the plant was held for the guests before the ceremony. The guests were delighted to see each other again after such a long time. After the tour, everyone moved to a restaurant. The ceremony began with words of congratulations from President Fudaba. In his message, President Fudaba encouraged the employees, mentioning that the road the company traveled in the ten years since the business was transferred was not a smooth one, but that thanks to the hard efforts of all of the employees at TAP the company has been able to build a solid foundation. This was a rare opportunity for so many of the people connected with the company to gather together and of course everyone had a lot of catching up to do. The lively conversations reminiscing about the past and discussing the future outlook for the company went on into the night.
TAP has been able to reach this important 10th anniversary milestone, but the road ahead is not guaranteed to be a smooth one. It is the desire of the entire TAP team to work vigorously to establish a stable business base and achieve increasing growth moving into the future.
