The column in this issue is on the familiar theme “flowers and plants.” We received reports from each location that were surprising and interesting. How much did you know about the flowers and plants of the different countries and regions?
Reading the articles on this topic made me realize how little we often know concerning the things we are familiar with.
Many of you sent in photos of subjects including drinks, greenery, and scenery for “Share.”
At the Tokyo head office, we launched the “Committee for Developing Work-Friendly Offices” at the end of last year. We’re doing things such as putting documents in order and changing office layouts to create better office environments. We’ve also began several initiatives involving hardware and software. We’re also considering creating spaces where employees can go to take a break and refresh themselves. People all have their own ways of refreshing themselves. I hope the “Share” photos will serve as inspiration on ways to refresh yourself.
