CSR Report 2015 was issued in June!
The report describes the environmental and social contribution activities undertaken by the Polyplastics Group in FY2014 from the standpoint of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The CSR Report, which has been issued since 2002, targets a readership composed of a broad base of stakeholders that includes the employees of the Polyplastics Group, customers, business partners, local community residents, and students.
In view of this highly diverse readership, the editors go through a process of trial and error every year to come up with a cover design, report content, and page formats that will make the report comprehensible and readable for everyone.
The 2015 edition includes an article that highlights support Polyplastics provides for our customers’ new product development efforts by introducing the example of Sumitomo Wiring Systems,Ltd.' use of DURANEX®PBT to manufacture power supply connectors. Other articles report on a variety of efforts undertaken by Polyplastics in the aim to become a truly global company.
The girl with a paper airplane on the cover of the report expresses our hopes for a bright future with limitless horizons. The automobiles and bicycles illustrated are some of the products that are manufactured using our resins.
The Japanese edition of the report in booklet form will be followed by an English version as well.
The English version will be distributed to all companies in the Polyplastics Group. The content of the report will also be available for viewing and download on the CSR page of the our web site.
