PKL takes measures to prevent MERS infection /

Topics PKL Vol.69

Currently, MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) is a major problem in South Korea. To prevent being infected by this virus it is desirable to stay away from places where there are a lot of people. But we can’t just stay home from work, so for the PKL employees who must commute by train to and from work everyday, news reports on the rising number of MERS patients are a source of great concern. The MERS virus is mainly spread by sneezing and coughing, so it’s important to wear surgical face masks and wash our hands to prevent infection. At PKL we’re careful to wash our hands and clean our mouths by gargling. We’re praying that everyone at PKL will come through this hard time safely.
