PCL Spring Dinner is held on 5 March at East Ocean Seaview Restaurant. This year, we are glad to have Mr. Uchida to join and grace our occasion.
The dinner party was started by Mr. Tsukamoto’s opening speech. He thanked for our contribution in the last year and announced that Mr. Uchida will be PCL managing director in April.
I think most of the colleagues are interested in joining our lucky draw section to try their luck on getting the Big Prize. Mr. Tsukamoto was the first lucky winner who was invited to choose one present and cash coupon on the table. After a long selection, only three staffs were left to win the 3rd prize, 2nd prize and the 1st prize. Finally, the luckiest winner was Tammy who has been serving PCL for more than 3years.
Apart from the lucky draw, we did enjoy the delicious dishes such as roasted pig and chicken, fish and fine wine. Today is the 15th days of Lunar New Year which means Chinese Valentine’s Day. The best food is dumpling ( 湯圓 ) which is similar to “Mochi” in Japan .The sweetness and stickiness of dumpling symbolize the lovers stick together and be happy all year around. It is an indispensable dish at Chinese Valentine’s Day.
