A batch of students and professors from Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) and Harvard University of USA visited Dafa plant as part of outside campus visit on January 13. We welcomed them and held an interactive program by briefly introducing the Polyplastics Group, operation status, ESH issue and healthcare management system of Dafa plant.
We prepared well our hospitality to welcome the guests from prestigious universities. Total 32 graduate students and professors from the Department of Public Health at KMU and their sister school, Harvard University came to Dafa plant. KMU has substantial research expertise in environmental epidemiology, occupational medicine, environmental health and toxicology. In order to provide students a broader academic view, KMU visited us for the program of onsite safety and industrial hygiene.
The discussion was held mainly for the topics of safety, healthcare and occupational disease. Then, the tour to Dafa plant's facilities was guided by Mr. Y. C. Lo, our deputy plant manager. We were surprised by the students’ enthusiastic participation and a lot of questions were raised to exchange views. Especially, young blonde students of Harvard University intented to listen, despite our awkward English explanations.
The way of sharing and giving Dafa plant's experience to young students was highly approved by PTW top managers. We hope to achieve the objective of educating young generation by graciously hosting the onsite visit for school students. Additionally, through mutual exchanges, we can absorb different views from outsiders!
