PCL 2014 Spring Dinner /

Topics PCL Vol.64

“Gong Hei Fat Choy” ….Wish you full of happiness in the Year of Horse.
PCL Spring Dinner was held on 10 February 2014 at Super Star Seafood Restaurant. This year, we were glad to have Mr. Tanaka to join and graced our occasion.

I think most of the colleagues were interested in joining our lucky draw section to try their luck on getting the Big Prize. Mr. Tsukamoto drew the first lucky winner who was invited to choose one present on the table with a red pocket. After a long selection, only three staffs were left to win the 3rd prize, 2nd prize and the 1st prize. Finally, the luckiest winner was Mr. Cliff Chan who has been serving PCL for more than 18 years.

Apart from the lucky draw, we did enjoy the delicious dishes such as roasted duck, roasted pig, lobster and fine wine. For the dessert, the best one was Nian Gao (年糕) which is similar to “Mochi” (sticky rice cake) in Japan. The sweetness and stickiness of Nian Gao symbolize the family able to always stick together and be happy all year around. It is an indispensable dish at Lunar New Year for Chinese. It also applies to different departments will co-operative well in the coming future.

The dinner party was completed by Mr. Tsukamoto’s closing remarks. He thanked for our contribution in the last year and hope PCL business target will be reached smoothly.
