In this issue we welcome PKL and LCPG,
two new companies that have joined P-Mates.
Because this is the debut for these companies,
we asked reporters from each of the companies to introduce them!
“LCPG” ― LCP Leuna Carboxylation Plant GmbH is a member of the Polyplastics-Family since 2012. 40 people are working for our company. We are Team LCPG, and we strive together to achieve success. We have an individual and very family oriented company culture, which makes things happen as successful as possible.

We are a state of the art German manufacturer of p-hydroxybenzoic acid – an important monomer for Liquid Crystal Polymers – and technical pure grade of Potassium Sulphate.
Our Plant and office building
31 people are working in our plant which includes trainees. The remaining 9 people are working in administrative position in the office building next to the factory.
Germany has a long culture and history of which we are very proud. Further to that we are the World Export Champion having economic power. Our factory is situated in a small town called Leuna, and is in the middle of Germany. It is about 200 km far from south of Berlin - Germany's capital.
Leuna is famous for the largest chemical site in Germany – from the size point of view. We are a small manufacturer within this site but are operating in the neighborhood of Total, BASF, DOMO, Taminco, etc.
Our company itself already has a long history of more than 50 years. Before the wall came down in 1989 between East and West Germany, we were producing similar chemical products within another political environment in which we live now. Since the reunification we became a global player for p-hydroxybenzoic acid.

My name is Katja Thoele and I am responsible for Purchasing and Sales within LCPG. I am 36 years old and I am working for LCPG for 9 years – I'm enjoying it a lot. I am in a constant contact to our customers and suppliers. I'm really appreciate the understanding, help and communication within our LCPG team. Besides working I enjoy to travel and to hike.
