“The children is our future” is the word that everyone realizes how important the children are. PMT realized that there are lots of starving & poor children in our countryside who would like to study, play and have a better food. Unfortunately, they cannot afford, that's why PMT would like to support them by making a CSR project “Planting the vegetables” for their lunch or they may earn from selling those vegetables. Moreover, PMT also donated the scholarship, computers, printer and some educational equipments.

Our CSR Activity “Planting the vegetables” held on October 12, 2013 at Banhuakhao School which located in Supanburi province. All staffs met at the office building and went to this school by coach. This school includes kindergarten and primary school, and has around 60 students only. When we arrived, all students & some teachers were waiting to welcome us. After that we had some activities with students and divided our staffs include students into three groups. Each group planted two vegetables in gardens. We planted many kinds of vegetables like Morning glory, Cucumber, Kale, Holy Basil and so on. Firstly we used a digging tool to loosen the soil and then spread manure. After that we dug out the soil and spread the seeds into the holes. Students of each group watered the plant and finally the vegetable garden was completed around 12 am. Then we had lunch together. Finally we had some activities with students again and went back to the office.

For this year's activity, we felt that we had a big good chance to do a good activity that directly related to the students up in the country. We understood that “giving” is the big thing that everyone can do and not so hard to do. All PMT staffs were very happy when we saw the students smiled and looked happy through this project. We wish that students will grow up to be the good person supporting our country in the near future.
