With the objective of promoting healthy lifestyle and enhancing cohesiveness through sports and recreational activities, the Sports & Recreation Club of PAP organized its annual event "PAP Run 2012".

The participants and their family members gathered on Saturday morning on November 24 at De'Rhu Beach Resort, Sungai Karang, Kuantan to accept the challenge offered by the SRC committee. Hundred of runners hoped to become PAP Run champion. This year, there were four categories to contest – male, male veteran, female and female veteran, that opened to all PAP staffs and spouses.

After registration and breakfast, all participants were gathered for some warm-up exercise. The start-up was officiated by our SRC President, Mr. Sasli Sulaiman. The route was around Balok housing and community area with the distance of 7.5 km for male and 4.5 km for female.

The organizer also had a coloring contest and fun games for our staff's children.

The champion of Male category was Mr. Tetsuya Yabushita of Logistics & Purchasing Dept., Mr. Wan Sameul Wan Ngah won in the Male Veteran category, while the champion of Female category was Mrs. Rabiah Wan Dihak, the wife of Mr. Zaidi Abdulah of Utility Section. Mrs. Siti Khadijah, the wife of Mr. Fauzi Ya of Logistics & Purchasing Dept., was the champion for Female Veteran category.
