The karaoke club was newly established this year as one Welfare Committee-sponsored club. "The karaoke club is aimed for promoting closer ties between colleagues and releasing stress by singing," said proudly Mr. Y. Y. Cheng, the club leader. The club thereby provides musical entertainment get-together favoring many colleagues who are karaoke lover and who like this kind of pastime.

"Absorbed in the music and subtitle on the screen of karaoke machine, I found myself singing in an imaginary superstar world", cheerfully narrated one member of the club, "so I can sing out my favorite tunes as well as throw out tiresome stress."

The first karaoke contest was held on Feb. 18. Many colleagues, are like "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon", ready for showing off their undiscovered singing talent. "Sing up, karaoke fans!" Mr. Cheng opened the flame of contest. The karaoke performance developed bitterly on the stage. The audience guzzled happily on the dining. The winner got delightedly gift vouchers. Everybody was satisfied, "we really had a good time in this ample get-together", said cheerfully with gruff-voiced.
