The first issue of P-Mates was launched in May 1998. This 44th issue marks the 10th anniversary of P-Mates!
The year 1998 was a time when establishment of group companies overseas was getting underway. Promoting communication between group companies became an important consideration, so P-Mates was conceived to help meet this need.

P-Mates was originally published in paper form, but was converted to electronic form for publishing on the Web beginning with the January issue in 2003. The January 2004 issue was given a new format which is currently in use.

P-Mates will continue to publish important information and news about group companies to everyone in the Polyplastics group, and also stories that spotlight the interesting differences in cultures and customs of countries where our group companies are located.
We hope that P-Mates will continue to be an enjoyable source of communication for all of you. And if it inspires you to be more motivated and feel more satisfaction in the work you do—well, that's even better!
