On May 18, a wonderful badminton match was held in Polyplastics Shanghai. This match was sponsored by our CEO, Mr. Goto and we also invited important guests from Daicel Group and Mitsui. In total, 16 groups of players participated in this match which was in the form of mixed doubles. The competition was very keen and everyone tried his or her best to each beat.

During the match, the excellent skills of Mr. Goto impressed us a lot. He moved frequently and fast between forecourt and backcourt and he was also good at overhead smash, hard smash and drop-shot. Meanwhile, he did a good job in blocking the nets and few of mistakes. By doing so, he and his partner won the championship finally.

At the dinner after the match, Mr. Tanaka announced that half of the bonus of this match will be donated to Shanghai Red Cross Association to the victims in Sichuan Province. Actually, just after the occurrence of Wenchuan huge earthquake on May 12, we confirmed at first time whether our Sichuan employees were safe or not. Besides that, we initiated donation among our employees. We collected totally RMB 41,375 and donated it to China Red Cross Association on May 22.
