On May 12 at 2:28 pm, deadly quake of 8.0 on Richter scale jolts Wenchuan, Sichuan Province. This devastating earthquake causes millions of people becoming destitute and homeless. People from home and abroad donate one after another to help the people of disaster areas with resettlement and post-quake reconstruction.

On May 15 PTM Labor Union took action rapidly to propose the employees to donate one day's salary to earthquake victim. Till May 16, totally 115 employees signed on the Proposal Letter and donated total salary of RMB19534.45 with another cash RMB300 from 3 employees. Meanwhile PTM 6 Japanese employees donated RMB10000 and PTM Company donated RMB50000. On May 23 total RMB79534.45 was remitted to Charity Institution of NETDA which is responsible to gather the donations and remit to China Red Cross at the end of May.

Hereby we'd like to thank all the employees who donated for the earthquake victim. Also we are mourning for Wenchuan quake victims and wish the people survival become stronger.
