Songkran and Warming Ceremony in PMT

During 13th -15th April of every year, there is a Thai traditional New Year called "Songkran Festival". On 11th April, PMT staff also performed a custom ceremony called "Rod Naam Dam Hua" by pouring water which mixed with Jasmine flowers, rose petals and Thai perfume on hands and giving good wishes to respect persons (almost older age) in the same time. Then they will return good wishes back such as "Be healthy & happy, Good luck in business and be wealthy". Our respect people who are Mr. Nonaka, Mr. Sato, Mr. Takahashi and Mr. Ishihara smiled and waited for all staff to do Rod Naam Dam Hua on that day. (As you may see in the photos)

On 12th April, PMT staff were joining together to participate in a "Warming Ceremony" that is a sacred Thai Buddhist ceremony in the occasion of our 10th Anniversary celebration. We have invited 9 monks from Dhammakaya Temple to pray and to bless for our business and all staff in the morning. After that, PMT staff offered foods, Thai desserts and also offered dedicated to Buddhist monks called "Sang Ka Taan" which are necessarily consumption for daily use of monk's life. And the monk sprinkled holy water thoroughly the office. (Thai people believed that good things will come to the place and person who lives there). Besides, the monk suggested us to perform mediation for mind relaxation around 10 minutes and also presented Dharma books to everybody. We felt happy, comfortable, and clear-headed.

These activities are some part of good things for our life in order to get good relationship between people and carry on religion which we belief in Buddhist.
