The Sports and Recreation Club (SRC) had its first friendly futsal match with the team from Gebeng Industrial and Kuantan Port area companies at Indera Mahkota Futsal Center on 3 February 2007. The main objective of the game was to enhance the good working relationship between all related companies in this area. This game was fully sponsored by Telekom Malaysia.
The PAP - SRC players were Raja Fahrin (NPP), Normann Arbaq (NPP), Mohd Noor Fadzillah (NPP), Hishamuddin Mohamad (ME), Mohd Aziman Kamaruddin (SHE), Norassidin Sungit (FPP), Fairul Azli (ME), Azman Musa (NPP), Karim Mohamad (FPP), Mohd Shahrizan (NPP) and our coach Abd Aziz Hassan (SHE). All together there were eight teams competing - Telekom Malaysia A & B, Kuantan Port Consortium, Mieco Manufacturing, Kaneka Malaysia, BASF Petronas, Kuantan Port Authority and Polyplastics Asia Pacific. The game was kicked off by Dato' Wan Daniel Wan Ibrahim, General Manager Eastern Region, Telekom Malaysia.
The event ended with a prize-giving ceremony and followed with the lunch. The champion of this year went to Kuantan Port Consortium. Almost everyone agreed that they had a great futsal time and getting to know each other better. There will definitely be more games in the future. |
