Self Introduction

Hi Everybody! My name is Alex Tai, newly joined to PCL since March this year. I am now working in Finance & Accounting General Affairs Department as an Assistant Finance Manager, mainly handle the credit issue and assist our senior manager in finance, accounting and taxation issues.

Since I am pretty new in the plastic material industry, there is quite a lot of knowledge, which is very fresh and interesting to me. Although I have been here for several months, I still feel that I can learn and understand something new from PCL everyday. Apart from that, working in PCL also allows me to have a more in-depth knowledge of Japanese management culture and tradition, which is differentiable with other foreign-invested enterprise. I shall take this opportunity to say thank you to the Japan, Hong Kong and Mainland China offices' colleagues in sharing their experiences with me, so that I can pick up the job smoothly.

Let me briefly introduce myself, I am a graduate from the University of Hong Kong. I have worked in both legal and finance / accounting areas for different kinds of enterprises such as local firm, listed company and multinational company, etc. In order to polish myself to professionalism, I have obtained the accounting qualification in 1999 and will continue my study in various areas such as PRC accounting, credit management and business analysis.

In the rest days, I like taking some leisure activities such as playing strategic board or electronic games. On the other hand, I love soccer very much that's why I am not only enjoy the time of watching soccer match but also a member of an amateur football team. I hope I can be the audience in the English Premier League and J-League to witness the birth of champion team, one day!
