Be Closer to the Sea through Cruise Trips on a Yacht /

Topics PTW Vol.75

To love the sea, be closer to the sea, protect the sea and our living surroundings, our company went on two cruise trips to Kaohsiung harbour, which allowed all employees and their family to experience the maritime culture from different aspects.

A total of 260 employees and their family joined the two trips to learn Kaohsiung harbour’s history, development, and its ecology, as well as enjoying the beautiful harbour views in September and October last year.

Kaohsiung harbour is the biggest and most important commercial port of southern Taiwan. Not just the great ships entering the harbour, we also enjoyed different classes of warships being docked. The cruise trip also enabled us to feel the history of warehouses that were firstly used for banana exports to Japan.
Sailing into the wind, we found each of the shot was the beautiful work of creation.
The narration of the tour staff made us rethink what we could do to keep the sustainable beauty, and to protect ecology of the sea as well as the place we live.
