On September 7, “Technical Salon Osaka” was convened to showcase the newest advances in Polyplastics products and peripheral technology. Targeting customers located in the Kansai region and further west in Japan, the event also featured discussions of specific development projects undertaken by customers in an effort to increase information exchanges and mutual interaction.
The site of the gathering was a conference room at the Osaka Branch (Grand Front Osaka, West Wing Tower B, Floor 31), with the agenda including a seminar-style oral session and poster exhibition. Although the time period was limited to the hours from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a total of 95 customers representing 52 different companies participated. Some are rarely able to visit the Polyplastics Research & Development Division in Fuji City, while there was also mention of projects for which development was inspired by this Technical Salon. The get-together was also significant as an opportunity to deepen understanding of Polyplastics materials and technologies.
