Internal Training about Problem Solving and Time Management /

Topics PAPS Vol.75

An internal training for E1 to E3 staffs was held on 27 October 2016 in the PAPS conference room. It was conducted by Ms. Pauline Khoo, manager of Account and Administrative dept. In this training we learned about Time management, which has been continuously updated to reflect the progress in productivity tools as well as new methodologies that help delegates to become more productive in the long run.

In addition to Time management, we also learned about Problem Solving and Quality Control method. In the Problem Solving part, we learned four important basic steps; Plan, Do, Check and Action. Problem Solving is the act of defining a problem; determining the cause of the problem; identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution; and lastly implementing a solution. An organization needs to define a standard of Problem Solving, so that leaders can effectively direct others in the process of research and resolution of issues.

In this training we learned how to control our time, and how to identify and set our priorities as well as developing a plan of action to achieve our goals. Developing and using effective time management skills give us time to plan, renew, and pursue personal and career goals.
