Fold-out pot mat

Pot mat

During a trip to Belgium, I discovered this in the kitchen utensils corner of a general store.
You spread out the four legs usually housed in the vertical direction in four directions, quickly transforming it into a flat shape. The mat is made of silicon, which doesn’t conduct heat so it doesn’t get deformed when you place something hot on it. Silicon offers great heat resistance. (Our liquid crystal polymer offers even greater resistance.) Here is a fold-out pot mat.
Of course, many stylish pot mats are sold in Japan, but this is the first one that can be folded up into such a compact size. It doesn’t take up a lot of space in the kitchen, and you can just wash it with water if it gets dirty. It features an unusual shape, which I liked it as soon as I saw it. The size is very convenient for me.

Did you ever have the unpleasant experience of having the best part of your favorite TV program or song interrupted by noise from a passing train? That used to happen to me all the time when I was a kid. If you try to use earphones while watching TV, you can’t get move around and the other members of the family can’t hear. They are not suitable for constant use.
I recently found out about a bluetooth transmitter device and decided to try it out. I went to the local electronics store, but they didn’t have it. Then I thought of Amazon. I typed it in and out it came. It arrived the next day. I quickly opened the box and took it out. “Wow, pretty small,” I thought. It was configured like a small plug with a wire leading to a USB memory. “Maybe you plug the USB jack into the TV...maybe you plug the other side into the audio jack of the TV.” Then you pair with wireless earphones. I tried it. I could hear well. I’m in my own world even if I’m away from the TV, a train passes by or my family say something to me. All I can hear is the sound of the TV. It works. After getting used to it, I turned the TV off.
The next day, I thought I would watch TV so I turned it on. I turned on the wireless earphone switch. I couldn’t hear anything. Pairing is not performed automatically. Do you have to perform pairing each time you turn it on? I read the instructions but it didn’t say anything about automatic pairing.
Now I perform pairing each time I turn the TV on. Is this supposed to be convenient?
