The QING DAO Railway Station /

The QING DAO Railway Station is located on Tai’an Road, SHINAN district, in Qing DAO City. It is a century-old station built in 1899, and is one of the oldest railway stations in the region. Its unique architectonic structure is making the station one of the most artistic buildings in QING DAO.

The station was designed by Baurath Hildebrand, a German designer who brought a memory of a German architecture to Qingdao. The Clock Tower of the station has been marking the passage of time as if overlooking the crowd of passengers who come and go in hurry since its completion.

The Qingdao railway station locates in the vicinity of seaside, only 300 meters away from the coastline. Passengers can enjoy a great view of Sea Promenade which leads in the sea of Qingdao just one step out of the station hall, and the view is always entertaining tourist who stop at the station.
