COLUMN PMI Vol.73

For the most of people in India, railways are an important lifeline. Millions of people use railways for their everyday commuting, for either short or long distance travels. In India, there are more than 8,000 railway stations, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai is one of the most famous and busiest ones. Since I live in Mumbai, I have known the station since my childhood. This railway station has been registered as an UNESCO heritage site. You can get not only local trains, but also long-distance trains to various parts of India.
