World climate change results in inevitable problems. March and April are the raining season in Taiwan traditionally. However, Taiwan has been experiencing a spring that was drier and warmer than usual. In this March, Taiwan government conducted the water supply restrictions and urged local residents to conserve water.
We obviously face the water resource shortage problem since the global climate changes. If Taiwan does not receive significant rainfall, the government will implement "phase two" measures to ration water. It will seriously impact on production of industry and society. All factories try best to avoid the bad situation, and PTW is no exception too. Fortunately, in mid-May successive days of rain has been partially relieved water shortage problem. But, the threat is not completely relieved. For PTW even all employers are supposed to do something for that, such as using the water well and so on. And all of PTW members should be pay more attention to save water.

This year PTW try to reuse the treated waste water for saving water. If this is successful, it will save 200 ton per day from now on. As the world changes, PTW are supposed to do something for water conservation. We believe that there is still a room to improve and to solve the tight condition of water issue.
