[Special Skills] The Cross-Stitch

In recent years, the cross-stitch is becoming popular in Shanghai. It is a beautiful art, which is very easy to learn how to do it.

In our office, there are some female colleagues embroiders the cross-stitch during the lunch time and they also talk about the various styles and beautiful color of the cross-stitch.

Now let me introduce my colleague Angela San who is our HR staff.
She prefers cross-stitch very much and is good at embroidering it. According to Angela San, she started to embroider the cross-stitch when she was studying in university. That means, she has embroidered the cross-stitch for almost 8 years, which is a long experience. (She entered our company nearly 4 years). The completes works have the transportation cards, mural, pillowcase, clock and so on.

Actually, the price of cross-stitch is very low and its tools are also very simple and easily to get. However, embroidering a cross-stitch really needs people's patience. For example, if mistakes happen during the process of embroidering, we should repeat the work with patience or the cross-stitch will not be complete. In addition, when we do the cross-stitch, we should also be careful about the needle in order to avoid hurting our fingers.

The most exciting time is actually when we finish the cross-stitch because one complete cross-stitch usually takes people lots of time to do it. Moreover, it is also a significant experience which can enhance people's patience and make them more careful. The complete work of cross-stitch can be regarded as an art and it is a wise choice to send this art to friends as a gift.

Send-off Party

On March 20, a wonderful send-off party was held in HSBC building's restaurant for our CEO Miyamoto san who is to retired age and have to come back to Japan.

Since Miyamoto San works in our Shanghai office, he is not only very earnest and industrious in work, but also suitable kindness for our staffs. So when we suddenly learned he would retire in March 27, we were all being startled and then decided to hold a send-off party and do a short move for him.

In the Party, Miyamoto san made a speech what expressed he was reluctant to leave our company and thank for colleagues to support his work for a long time first. Then we broadcasted the short move, sent the blessing cards to him. Finally we have also took some pictures for commemoration, hope that he may not only frequently remember us but also can recall the happy days in Shanghai when he come back to hometown.

In here, we sincerely wish Miyamoto san can have well-liking and happy days in Japan.
