Outing Trip, touch the winter breeze of Chiangmai

Camping
Hot air balloon
It's the time to relax!! Once a year PMT-staffs would join for outing trip together and it has been set during 5-7 December last year.
Start from November to February is the winter season of Thailand. Going to the northern part of Thailand is very popular amongst the travelers because of the cold breeze, which come only once a year during this period. PMT-staffs went to Chiangmai, where the highest mountain point is overthere.
On the first day, we visited 'Phuphing' palace, their Majesties' residence during winter season. There're many kinds of colorful and beautiful flowers and plants around the palace. Then, we went on seeing life style of a hill tribe people called 'Mong or Maew' and severed 'Pra Thad Doi Suthep', the emblem of Chiangmai province. And after sightseeing all day long, we had a wonderful dinner as northern style (by using your finger instead of spoon and fork) called 'Khantoke', which the plates of meal have been prepared as one set on a hamper tray.
On the second day we reached the highest point of Thailand called 'Doi Inthanon', it was very cold up there at 15 Celsius degree in the early morning. Next visit was 'Barn Tavai', seeing and shopping some woodworks and handicrafts, then transferred to 'Krissada Doi' for splendid time of taking some photos with beautiful scenery. And we had joined camping brightly after barbecue dinner. We were also doing a northern tradition called 'Loy Khoam' to pay respect and ask for forgiveness to our Buddha by fire-setting and let the hot air balloon rise into the sky, that's was my first time doing this.
There was another of my first experience. It was elephant-riding and enjoyed watching an amazing show from elephants at 'Pang Mae-Sa'. Then we transferred to 'San Kam Phaeng Hot Spring', some of us enjoyed boiling and eating eggs while somebody enjoyed washing body in natural hot water. That was very impressive outing trip for us all.

Nueng san's Sweetest Day
At the end of last year, there was a memorably sweetest day for 'Nueng san' (PMT's Cost Accountant) and his wife 'Weng san' as their wedding day. The wedding ceremony was held on December 27th at Sakura Grand View Hotel in Songkhla province, in the Southern part of Thailand. Though the ceremony was far away from Bangkok and we could not join in the party, all of us sent our blessing to both of them happiness in their couple life.
